Mission
The mission of the Online Learning team at UTSA is to encourage and support the use of instructional technology across the University. Our goal is to assist faculty members in incorporating appropriate technology solutions in their physical and online classrooms that support individual pedagogical visions and the goals of UTSA. Our hope is that through this collaborative effort we will encourage greater student engagement and improve learning outcomes.
Learn Resources
UTSA began using the Blackboard Learn 9.1 platform in January, 2013. To assist with the transition, the Online Learning team offered 135 Bronze and Silver level classes on the Learn platform in Spring 2013 and will be offering weekly classes during the Fall 2013 semester. Check our Training link to schedule training, in the meantime, a self-paced version of the Bronze class is now available; enroll yourself in the Open Course (contact your College-specific Online Instructional Design and Development team members for the access code.)
